Welcome back to the Learning the GAC series. This week, we move on to the fourteenth letter, Xi!

Xi is a symbol that I most often express as “don’t polish a turd." It’s not the most eloquent phrasing, but definitely gets the message across very bluntly. Essentially, this symbol tells me to be realistic with my expressions and expectations. It often appears when people need to take responsibility for their actions, and understand the role they may play in a situation. Xi also describes harshness, and shows us that being callous will not lead to a positive outcome. Occasionally, this symbol ultimately points out that someone is not handling things appropriately, and that they may consider adjusting their attitude to be successful.
A poem to help memorize the meaning of Xi could be:
